Ambisyon — in alpha, by invitation
Find your place in the sun.
You are not short of ability. You are short of a way to have it counted.
A filter reads a keyword. Ambisyon reads a whole person — what you have built, what you keep returning to, the things you would only say if someone asked — and points all of it at the pathway that was already yours.
No forms. No filters. One address.
Request an invite02 The problem
Somewhere, a schema decided who you are.
Not a person. A schema. Twelve fields, one dropdown, and a parser that gives up halfway down the second page. Six years of building things come back as two words in a box. Everything you are actually capable of is sitting in the part it could not parse.
None of this has a field.
- The team you quietly held together for two years.
- The thing you taught yourself at one in the morning, badly, then well.
- The reason you left.
- The work you would do for free, if free were survivable.
So the machine does the only thing it can. It reads the title, finds more of the title, and shows you the life you already walked away from. Then it calls that a match.
You were not shoehorned by a person. You were shoehorned by a schema.
In an age defined by building, nobody should be made smaller to fit a form.
03 Signals
What we read. What we refuse to reduce you to.
A person is the unit of measure here, not a profile. We are trying to count the capacity a form throws away — and everything below is an input you can see, edit and take back, never an inference made about you in the dark.
What we read
- Your public profile
- What you have already put into the world: what you shipped, wrote, organised, repaired.
- Interests you actually hold
- Not the ones on a form. The subjects you keep returning to when nobody is grading you.
- What you volunteer
- Constraints, hopes, the salary floor, the city you cannot leave, the hours you will not give back.
- A short Q&A
- Ten minutes of questions only you can answer. Not a personality test. No archetypes, no colours.
What we refuse to reduce you to
- A job title
- The name of a school
- A six-month gap
- Keyword density
- Where you were born
- How well you photograph
A signal is an input, never a verdict. If one of them is wrong about you, say so — and it changes.
04 How it works
From a profile to a pathway, in four moves.
No black box, no magic. This is the actual pipeline, drawn honestly — what goes in, where it gets read, and who signs off before you see anything.
-
Assemble
We read what is already public, and you fill the gaps in your own words. Ten minutes, not ten forms. You approve every fragment before it counts.
-
Ask
A short Q&A about the work itself. What you want to be doing at eleven on a Tuesday. What you will not do again for any amount of money.
-
Synthesise
The model finds the shape across everything you gave us and drafts three candidate pathways. A human reads that draft before you ever do, and throws one out.
-
Point
You get a direction with the next three moves attached — the skill to build, the room to get into, the person worth writing to. Not four hundred open roles.
-
You are allowed to disagree with the result. Disagreement is an input, not a complaint — it is the fastest way we learn what we misread.
05 Human and machine
The model finds the pattern. A person tells you what it means.
What the AI does
- Holds every pathway at once, including the ones nobody thought to name.
- Reads the routes people actually took, not the ones the brochure describes.
- Notices the adjacency you would never have thought to search for.
- Never gets tired at candidate nine hundred, at four in the afternoon.
What a person does
- Hears the thing you did not write down, and asks about it anyway.
- Knows when a pathway is technically right and humanly wrong.
- Says the hard sentence — not yet, and here is exactly why.
- Is accountable to you, by name, for the advice they gave.
Neither half is enough alone. An advisor cannot hold ten thousand pathways in their head. A model cannot hear your voice change when you talk about the job you left.
06 Direction
A job is a door. A direction is a corridor.
Matching you to a job is a transaction that ends the day you sign. Matching you to a direction is a decision you get to keep making — this role, the one after it, and the skill that makes both of them possible.
- Matched to a job
- One outcome, one moment, someone else's vacancy. It expires the day it is filled.
- Matched to a direction
- A heading, a next move, and a reason you can repeat out loud to someone who doubts it.
07 Who it is for
Whatever stage you are standing at.
Ambisyon is built for the moment you are in, not the decade you are supposed to be in. Four of those moments, to start.
- First move
- No track record yet, plenty of evidence. We read what you have made, not where you studied.
- The pivot
- You are good at something you have stopped wanting. The overlap is wider than it looks from inside it.
- The plateau
- Right ladder, wrong building. A direction beats a promotion, most years.
- The return
- A break, a caring year, an illness, a move across an ocean. A gap is a period, not a verdict.
08 What is coming
We are building this slowly, on purpose.
A career is not a growth curve. We would rather be right for a few hundred people than plausible for a million. That is also why there are no dates below: we are not going to promise you a month we cannot keep.
-
Where we are
In alpha, by invitation
A few hundred people. One pathway model, real advisors reading every result before it ships.
-
Next
Open alpha
Pathway maps, the full Q&A, and the first scheduled human reviews. Still small, still slow, still free.
-
After that
Ambisyon for institutions
Universities, unions and employers who want to widen a door rather than narrow it. Same promise, more doors.
-
The number we care about is how many people got somewhere. Not how many signed up.
By invitation
One address. Investors and early users alike.
There is no form here on purpose. Write to us like a person, and a person will write back.
Opens your mail client, or take the address with you.
- Alpha access
- Tell us where you are standing and where you think you should be. A paragraph is plenty. Send it to hello@ambisyon.com.
- Investor enquiries
- Ask for the deck by name and we will send the memo and a time. Same inbox: hello@ambisyon.com.
